Gyula (Julius) Takacs, aged 90, passed away peacefully at Fir Park Village in Port Alberni, BC, on November 22, 2024.
Gyula is survived by his children, Irene, Patricia (Leo) and Tony; grandchildren Matthew (Krysta), Janelle (Ryan), Lorne and Emily (Nick); great grandchildren, Angela, Caleb and Isabella. The family would also like to acknowledge Chris Hildebrand, Brenda Takacs (Phillips), Amanda Tinkess, Leah Tinkess as well as many other relatives in Canada, Australia and Hungary.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Gyula in the spring and the family will publish a notification of the event in the local paper.
