Grant passed away peacefully on November 22, 2017 lovingly surrounded by his family.
He was predeceased by his parents Marie and Arthur Beckman and his brother Lee.
Grant was a hardworking man who loved his family dearly, especially the love of his life and wife of 56 years, Shirley.
He is survived by Shirley, their beloved children Tammy (John) and Dean (Debbie), his two grandchildren Stephanie (Mike) and Sierra, his great-grandchildren Austin and Brantley and his sister in law Maryon Lewis and many nieces and nephews.
Grant had many talents and passions including restoring antique cars, owning his own sandblasting and coating business for over 50 years and hot dogs on the beach with his family.€
Grant's compassion and love for life made him many dear friends. There will be no other like this amazing man. To know him was to love him.€
Special Thanks to Dr. Stephen LeBeuf, Dr. Larry Darby and the nursing staff at the Campbell River Hospital for the excellent care they gave to Grant.
A celebration of life is to be announced at a later date.€
