November 16, 1951 - April 13, 2025

Born November 16, 1951 in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully and with dignity surrounded by loved ones, at the Nanaimo Regional Hospital Palliative Care Unit on April 13, 2025, after a short but courageous battle with recurrent cancer.

He is predeceased by his parents Henry and Kay Warn, sisters-in-law Linda Warn and Darlene Allercott, brother-in-law Russ Roux, and nephew Shayne Warn.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Margaret Roux, and their three children: April (Phillip) Vannini, Brendan Warn (Nicole), and Matthew Warn. He is deeply missed by his brother Wayne and extended family, Elizabeth Timmons, and Julie Boros. Glenn was adored by his 11 grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will always remember his Easter egg hunts, gardening, hidden walnut messages, mountain hikes, and joyful guitar sing-alongs.

Glenn worked for 34 years as a painter and sign painter with Ladysmith-Nanaimo School District 68, leaving a colourful legacy through his painted school logos and mascots in the gyms and hand-painted signs around the district. He also served as a foreman and volunteered his time as an executive with CUPE Local 606.

In his final weeks, Glenn expressed deep gratitude for the care he received. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the doctors, nurses, and hospice staff.
