April 13, 1942 - October 18, 2020
Gilles Ouellette passed away peacefully with his wife Nancy by his side late on October 18th 2020.
He was born April 13th, 1942 in Montreal, Quebec where he lived a very exciting life full of stories to share.
He eventually moved to BC to get away from the cold weather and began working in the logging industry as a truck driver. He absolutely loved driving his HDX fat logging trucks. He filled up the rest of his time adventuring with Nancy, camping, and spending time with his growing family.
He is survived by his loving wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, siblings and many friends. His charming sense of humour and loving personality will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
We would also like to acknowledge the staff at Comox Valley Seniors Village who went above and beyond to make Gilles' almost 7 years in the home as wonderful as it possibly could have been. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
