It is with great sadness that the family of Geraldine Lucille McBain announces her passing on Aug 3 2018 at the age of 92. Gerry is predeceased by the love of her life Philip McBain as well as her sisters Dorothy, Shirley and Theresa. She is survived by her 6 children, John (Fran), David, Beverly (Gary), Barbara (Rick), Robert (Ellen), and Mary (Neil), her sister Peggy and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Gerry attended St Mary's Church in Ladysmith and was a 50 year member of the Catholic Women's League. She was also a proud veteran of the Royal Canadian Navy.
The family would like to thank Wexford Creek Community Care (Nanaimo), and LaRosa Gardens (Ladysmith) for the outstanding care and love you provided to Gerry over the past 8 years.
Everyone who knew Gerry will miss her kindness, quick wit, and boundless good humor.
A private memorial will be held at a later date.
