Gerry passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 in Nanaimo Hospital at the age of 92. He was born and raised in Saskatoon, SK.
He is survived by his loving wife Moira of 56 years, nephew George and niece Susan-Marie and was predeceased by his mother, Phyllis, in 1998.
After serving with the Royal Canadian Air Force (1954 - 57), where he worked on early warning sites across Canada, Gerry settled in Vancouver as an equipment technician with CNCP.
It was there that he met Moira and they were married in 1964. Gerry and Moira retired to Qualicum Beach in 1989 where he enjoyed golfing and his involvement with the Legion. He made many good friends and will be dearly missed by them all, especially the neighbourhood hummingbirds.
