Gerry passed away peacefully with Fern by his side, at Wexford Creek Seniors Home.
Gerry is survived by his wife of 66 years, his four daughters - Kelly (Tim), Deborah (Gordon), Robyn (Ray), Sharon (Terry), 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 4 brothers (Parker,Jim,Larry & Brian).
He is predeceased by his parents (Margaret and Baden) and two brothers (Donald and Daniel.)
Gerry worked in the bakery and in 1967 he and Fern bought a motel in Westbank. they went on to have motels in Prince George, Creston, Grand Forks and Nanaimo. In 1991 they retired to Yellowpoint area. Gerry enjoyed being a snowbird for over twenty years, going to California. He raised budgies and worked on restoring old vehicles.
Gerry had a smile for everyone.
We would like to thank everyone at Wexford Creek Seniors Home. The care and support given to Gerry was wonderful. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
The family had a private grave side service.
