It is with great sadness we announce that Pat Devlin passed away in Courtenay, from pneumonia. Born in Edmonton, he was the son of John and Anne Devlin. Pat is predeceased by grandchildren Monique Devlin and David Quistberg.
Pat leaves behind his treasured wife of 66 years; Loretta and his children Pat Devlin (Debby), Maureen Stewart (David), Colleen Devlin and Elaine Curry (Stan).
His love of the outdoors, his freckles and the mischievous twinkle in his eye will live on in his 12 beloved grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Pat proudly served in the Queens Own Rifles and PPCLI for many years. Pat and Loretta loved travelling North America by RV and exploring the back roads of the island, having many adventures while looking for the perfect fishing spot.
Donations can be made in Pat's name to Wounded Warriors (WOUNDEDWARRIORS.CA). The family greatly appreciated the caring staff of the Views.
A Celebration of Pat's life is planned for July.
