In Loving Memory ~
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Garry, a loving husband, father, and pepa/papa. He will be greatly missed by his wife Judy of 46 years, his children Serena (Ken), Jeff (Alana), and Jason.
Garry also leaves behind his grandchildren Braedon, Riley, Holly and Joe who he adored, his brother Lyle (Wendy) and many other family and friends. Garry was predeceased by his father and mother Norbert and Theresa and his sister Brenda Olson.
Garry was born in Humboldt, Saskatchewan and moved to Victoria, B.C. when he was 16, then in 1989 moved to Campbell River, B.C.
Garry had a great passion for the game of golf where he met many good friends at Cedar Hill Golf Course in Victoria and then Storey Creek in Campbell River. He also passed the love of the game down to his family.
Garry will be remembered for his sense of humour and sarcastic remarks and his beautiful blue eyes.
We would like to thanks the doctors and nurses of Campbell River Cancer Care Unit for their wonderful support and care over the past 6 years.
