Garry leaves us with so many empty places to fill, with a lifetime of memories that he gave to all of us. His smiles, the fun camping trips, teaching us to love boats and fishing, from salmon to rockcod and lake fishing too, just to name a few.
He loved the outdoors and when it was time to retire from workdays it was off to the lakes for months at a time - meeting new friends and bringing along all who would love the life just as he did.
Work life for Garry was machinery - oh how he could make those machines respond as if extensions of his hands - driving logging trucks, the HDX off road his favorite, loading logs, reaching over that sidehill for that log knowing just how far that machine would tilt and when to stop before a rollover - get that log and carry on. He left his mark by all the logging roads he helped to build, up and down the coast.
Predeceased by his Parents Ethel & Bert Wooldridge, Brothers Albert & Murray Wooldridge, Brothers: Sonny, Bill, Norm, Gibb Billy. Grandson Josh Carter, Sis in law Lois Sorensen & Mom, Doris Truchon.
Survived by his love of sixty-five years, Trish,
His children Tami/Shannon, Cathe/Gary. Old Son Rick/Ruth
Grandchildren: Drew/Mai, Shevaun.
