In loving memory of my husband of 47 years.
(1938-2023) ~ Garry passed away peacefully at The Gardens at Qualicum Beach on March 6, 2023, at the age of 84. He will be sadly missed by his friends and family.
Garry was a lifelong resident of Vancouver Island, with his family roots going back to the early settlers on Denman Island in the 1860s.
Growing up on the Island, it was only natural that during his teenage years, he would pursue a career in logging with his father and grandfather, and then a 35-year-long career with the Provincial Ministry of Forests, working as a log scaler up and down the coast and retiring as a Scaling Supervisor.
Garry loved the outdoors and would spend his leisure time fishing and hunting. He will be fondly remembered for his independent spirit.
There will be no service at Garry's request.
