January 14, 1949 - September 25, 2020
Gail Kasalo of Chemainus, BC, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Sunridge Place on Friday, September 25, 2020 at the age of 71 years. She will be lovingly remembered by children: Greg Kasalo, Tanya (John) Walker, Eva McKenzie; grandchildren: Brandon, Tristan, Madison, Jordan, John, Morgan, Sydni, and Ryan.
She will also be dearly missed by Gina (Kevin) Lawless whom Gail cared for ever since Gina was 19 years of age and by Gail's dog, Mocha. Gail was predeceased by husband, Steve Kasalo (2009) and son-in-law, Corey McKenzie (2020).
Gail was born and raised in Chemainus then met and married her late husband, Steve in 1971. She was a dedicated mother and wife and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She also loved her chats with a cup of warm coffee in hand.
The family would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at Sunridge Place for their care and compassion. Memorial donations in Gail's name may be made directly to the Alzheimer's Society of BC. A private family service will be held.
