With profound sadness we announce the sudden passing our beloved Fraser on Dec. 3, in Campbell River. He leaves behind his parents Rob & Coleen McKinnell, brother Mark (Stephanie), nephew Jack, niece Emily, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins & friends.
Fraser was born in Port Alberni. He attended school in Campbell River and obtained a degree in Aviation/Business in 2005. He began his career as an Pilot in Saskatchewan, flying medevac out of Prince George and Iqaluit and finally Air Canada.
Recently he took on the role of Civil Aviation Inspector for Transport Canada and was dedicated to keeping the skies safe for the travelling public. Fraser also leaves behind his aviation brotherhood, wonderful friends made over the years & spanning the globe.
Fraser lived life to the fullest and on his own terms. He loved to fish, golf, snowboard, camp, read, and spend time with friends and family. His quick wit & sense of humour will be missed from Coast to Coast.
Our hearts are broken.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
