In loving memory ~

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Frank, a man of grit, humour, and an unbreakable spirit. He left us on February 6, leaving behind a legacy as strong and enduring as the trees he felled and the waters he fished.

Born and raised on Quadra Island, Frank was a hard-working fisherman who found solace in the great outdoors. Whether in the deep woods or out on the water, he was happiest with a chainsaw in hand or a line in the water—always ready with a witty remark and a twinkle in his eye. His quick humour and sharp wit kept everyone on their toes, and his stories—some true, some a little stretched—will be missed just as much as his presence.

Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, and friend; his love for his family was as steady as the tides. He leaves behind Linda; two daughters, Lindsay and Kelsey (Chris); his grandson, Mason; two stepdaughters, Britney and Kayla; two step-grandchildren, Abby and Aria; his sister, Deb (Blair); his mother, Betty Anderson; nieces and nephews; many cousins, aunts, and uncles; and countless friends who were lucky enough to share in his adventures. He was predeceased by his father, Wayne Anderson, and his brother, Doug.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Head Injury Society.

A celebration of life will be held on March 15, 2025, at 1 PM at the Eagles Hall to honour the man who taught us that hard work, laughter, and a little bit of stubbornness can get you through just about anything.

Rest easy, Frank (Dad) -

we'll carry your stories with us always
