Flo (Florence) Parker was born on the high seas on the way to Montreal, QC from Glasgow. She lived much of her childhood in Scotland before returning to live in Montreal. She attended McGill University where she met and married Reg. In 1968 the family moved to Port Hardy BC, then to Brentwood Bay in 1973. They happily remained thereafter on the Saanich Peninsula. For a year, Flo blissfully lived as part of the Brentwood House family and died at 95 years, after a short stay at the Saanich Peninsula Hospital Extended Care in Saanichton. She lived a long, active and productive life.
Flo was predeceased in 2018 by Reg, her husband of 67 years and by her sister-in-law, Joan Parker, in 2010. She is sorely missed by sons, Iain and Bruce, and daughter-in-law, Patricia.

A celebration of Flo's life will be held at 2 pm Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Highway Christian Fellowship Church, 10364 McDonald Park Rd, Sidney. Masks optional but appreciated.
