It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Exander James McNab December 19, 2021 at home in Cedar (Nanaimo), B.C. Exander died peacefully in his sleep in the quiet of the night.
Exander was born July 31 2021 in Nanaimo, B.C. to his loving parents Alexander Sheaves and Sasha McNab. Exander was the sweetest little baby, full of smiles and love for his family.
The expression on his face when he saw his Daddy was one of purest joy. His eyes constantly following his Mama’s movements everywhere she went. He was always so happy when his sister would sit close to him and call him “buddy” for she was his buddy too.
Although his time with us was much too short, he will be forever remembered by his love of his family and his joy of music, which will live on in many.
Exander is survived by his Father and Mother, Alexander James Sheaves and Sasha Madeline McNab, sisters Alyshia Leigh Sheaves-Hodgson, Payton Eagar and brother Issac Hodgson.
Great grandparents Alex and Pauline Mulholland, Grandparents Margaret Mulholland,BruceMcNab,Ascencao (Ashley) Skorepa, Laura Lee Ashford and Darren Chisholm. Aunties Megan and Tatianna- Viola McNab, Mackenzie and Hailee Bartleman, Jane and Elinor Hoffman.
Preceded by Grandparent Mark Crowe.
During this time the family is requesting privacy and space. Condolences and offerings can be received via text or through the gofundme account that has been set up by a family friend.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 22nd at 1100hrs for family and a few close friends. Zoom will be set up with a link for those who would like to stream the service (1500hrs Atlantic time).
Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) is the unexplained death of healthy babies while they sleep. Causes are unknown; SIDS may be associated with defects in the portion of the brain that controls breathing and arousal from sleep.
