It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Evelyn Phillis Wolchyn. Evelyn died Sunday, May 23 at 2:45 pm, at the age of 70.
Evelyn was born November 30th 1950, to John and Ann Popowich of Grande Prairie, Alberta, it was apparently -50 C at the time.
Linda was born in Radway, as was Ken, then they moved to the Peace to farm. They stayed in the region for the rest of their lives. Ken still farms the family farm.
Evelyn married Myles Wolchyn on August 10, 1968. She is survived by her loving husband Myles; three children: Cory (Jennifer Sandford), Carri-Ann (Jason Lewis), and Chris (Lindsay Bjornson); and grandchildren: Sadie, Henry, Kolten, Morgan, Amirah, Ford, Presley, and Hudsyn.
