It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Evangeline (Vangie) Sebastiano, age 94 of Nanaimo B.C. Vangie passed away peacefully on 22 May 2023 at Dufferin Place Care home where she had spent the last few months.
Vangie was pre-deceased by her parents Winifred and Sydney Wickham, Husband Sam, Daughter Bonnie, and brothers Alec and George. She is survived by her daughter Brenda (Gary), Sons Bill (Dini) and Robert (Shelly), sisters Lona and Florence, brothers Johnny and Tom as well as numerous nieces and nephews, grandchildren, great and great-great-grandchildren.
Vangie was born in Vermilion Alberta and spent her early years on the family farm near Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. Upon finishing school she moved for work to Vancouver where she spent a brief time before meeting and marrying Sam. She subsequently relocated to Nanaimo, to live and raise their family together.
Vangie has touched the hearts of many over the years and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
