1937-2021 ~ It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Eva Merkli on September 15, 2021 in Nanaimo, BC.
Eva is predeceased by her devoted husband of 27 years, Albrik. She is survived by her 3 children, Albrik, Heidi (Erin), and Jennifer (James); as well as her 3 grandchildren, Jamie, Jordan, and Jackson.
Eva met Albrik in 1962, and by 1963 they were married and emigrated from England to Canada, where they settled in Nova Scotia. In 2001, mum made the decision to move to Nanaimo.
Eva touched the lives of many. She was strong, kind, thoughtful, and always ready for a chat and a laugh.
Honouring her wishes, no service will be held.
Although she will be greatly missed, her spirit is at rest.
