It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Erich Peter - loving husband to Audrey Peter - father to Dean (Debra) and Grant (Kim) - Beloved Grampa to Jacob, Rebecca and Victoria. Brother to Hammy (Kay), Peter and Irma Carlson. Predeceased by his brothers Kurt & Gary Peter and sisters Ursula Peter and Edith Klassen.
Born in Rhineland, Manitoba, Erich came to BC in 1957 where he had a 41 year career in the pulp and paper industry. In his retirement years, he enjoyed winters in Yuma, Arizona. Erich's love of driving led him to work for Enterprise after retiring where he moved cars around the island.
The family wishes to acknowledge with deep appreciation all the support received from family and friends and for the loving care provided to Erich by the staff at Cowichan District Hospital.
