Elva Ionne Chorney, 88, of Campbell River, passed away on December 14th, 2017.
Elva was born in Bank End, Saskatchewan on November 15th, 1929. She married George in Foam Lake, Saskatchewan where they raised their two sons, Richard and Ronald, on a farm.
In 1966 Elva and her children left Saskatchewan and joined many of her brothers and sisters in Campbell River. Elva worked very hard as a Janitor in the hospital and several hotels in Campbell River.
She spent her retirement giving all that she could to everyone in her immediate family. Her spare time was spent in her garden and with her cats and dogs.
Elva is survived by her son Richard, sister Marlene, grandson Clayton, and other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her son Ronald.
