Passed away November 30, 2017 at the Lodge on 4th, Ladysmith, BC.
She was born February 1, 1923 to Hilda (Armour) and Lionel Marrs at Somenos, BC and spent all her life in the Cowichan Valley.
She was an avid bowler, talented seamstress and a successful gardener. She loved laughing, spending time with her family and friends, hummingbirds and sweets.
Pip was predeceased by her beloved husband of 47 years, Lewis Holden; her three big brothers, Colin, Eric and Don and sister-in-law Mabel.
Pip is survived by her children Penny (Bob), Jim (Wendy) and Jan (Ron); three grandchildren, Kelly, Cory and Bailey; two great-grandsons, Bryson and Dalton; sister-in-law, Mary Marrs and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her grandson said it best. "She was probably the nicest, kindest person I knew."
