Our loved one passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on Monday, November 27, 2017 at the age of 81.
Predeceased by her husband Nev; son Stephen Cardiff; and brother Bud Petersen; Betty is survived by her sister Carol; brother Stewart (Lynn); sister-in-law Darlene; son Bill Thompson (Melissa); daughter Julie Cardiff; step-children: Dan, Gina, Carol, Ian, and Gail; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and one great-great-grandchild.
Betty was a loving and caring person. Her talent for singing and painting watercolours brought joy to many. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring of 2018. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty's name to The Alzheimer Society of Canada or a charity of your choice.
