February 8, 1927 - July 26, 2019
Peacefully passed away at the age of 92 on July 26, 2019 at Echo Village in Port Alberni, BC. Predeceased by his parents Guisippe and Amelia Bressan; brothers Ricardo, Emellio, Tullio, Mario and his sister Bianca; as well as his grandson Carson.
Elio is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Rina Bressan; his daughter Donatella (Kelly) Schutte; his son Franco (Michelle) Bressan; grandson Lance (Emily) Schutte; great granddaughters Myla and Isabella; granddaughters Natalie (Joe) Schutte and Melissa Bressan. Elio is also survived by his brothers Luigi and Toni as well as numerous nieces, nephews and a large extended family both in Canada and Italy.
The family would like to thank Dr. De Witt and the staff at Echo Village for the wonderful care Elio received.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at 2 pm at the Lawn Bowling Club 4255 Wallace St, Port Alberni, BC.
