Eileen passed away at Acacia Ty Mawr long term care in Shawnigan Lake.
Eileen is survived by her husband of 66 years Ken, 2 sons Kevin (Karen) and Paul Trelfa, grandsons Ryan (Adrianne) and Craig (Brianna) and great grandchildren Abigale and Hank, her sister Nancy and many nieces and nephews.
Born in Unity Saskatchewan. Raised, married and lived in Alberta until Ken's work brought the young family to British Columbia, first to Woss Camp, then Burnaby and finally Duncan.
In her early years she was a teacher, avid skier and golfer. Eileen was an artist at heart, always attending courses, photography, sculpting, pencil sketching, watercolours, acrylics and pottery and more. She explored them all. She retired from Whittome's Realty, a career she started and enjoyed later in life. Sadly Eileen's condition prevented her from knowing her great grandchildren, but all the values she passed to her sons and grandsons will continue on. Lovingly remembered as Eileen, Betty, Wife, Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma, Sister, Aunt and friend.
