Edwards, Eileen of Valleyview Home, St. Thomas, passed away peacefully, on Monday, June 17th, 2019, at her residence, at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Frank Edwards and dearly loved mother of John R. Edwards and his wife Judy. Much loved grandmother of Julie Legacy and her husband Justin and Michael Edwards and his wife Laurie. Cherished great-grandmother of Riley, Haily, Braedyn, Jake and Deryk. Dear sister-in-law of Margaret Slater. Predeceased by her brother, George Slater and her niece, Angela Schlinger. Eileen was born in Birmingham, England on January 1st, 1927, the daughter of the late Herbert and Ellen (Tustin) Slater. She formerly lived in Nanaimo, B.C. Eileen was an office manager.
A private family service will be held. Entombment of ashes will take place in Woodland Cemetery, London. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin Street, St. Thomas entrusted with arrangements.
