In loving memory ~
On September 1st, 2022 Eileen Dupont drew her last breath, with family at her side, at the age of 93. Predeceased by her husband Maurice Dupont, and sons Marc (Ann) and Ben Dupont. Survived by children Theresa Dupont (Laurelee), Maria Hiles, Ellie Dupont, Blair Dupont (Juanita), Rick Dupont, Del Dupont (Brenda) and Sharon Hiles (Wayne).
Anyone that knew mom knew how much she loved to feed people (and they loved to be fed by her!) She was a mother to more then her own 10 children, there were numerous informal adoptees, she hosted many (large!) family gatherings, cooking for several years for the parish priests and any friends who were having a difficult time in life; providing healthy food that spread the feeling of being loved and cared for. She worked hard (often into the night), loved deeply and gave much compassion - God said, "rest now, you deserve it."
Funeral for Eileen is September 12, 2022 at 1:00 pm at St Ann's Church, 1775 Tzouhalem Rd, Duncan. Burial to follow - St Francis Xavier Church, 790 Kilmalu Rd, Mill Bay.
