With much sadness we announce the passing of Winnie Morgan on 15 November 2018.
Winnie died suddenly, but peacefully, surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
Winnie was a devoted mother and wife. She was married for sixty three years to Jack Morgan who passed only three months before her.
Winnie was born and grew up in Chauvin, Alberta where she lived until she left to join the RCAF. Like most of her family she served in the Canadian military and that is where she met her husband - they would spend the rest of their lives together. They lived all across Canada and had two postings to Germany. Eventually they retired in the Comox Valley, a place she grew to love.
She is survived by her three children: John, Suzanne, and Sherri, her two grandchildren: Sean and Erin, and her two sisters: Mavis and Connie.
A celebration of Winnie's life will be held in the spring.
