Edwin Harry (Ted) James was born January 10, 1942, in the Cowichan Valley. He passed away unexpectedly on August 4, 2024. Ted was predeceased by his wife Carol, long-time partner Cheryl, and his sister Valerie. He is survived by his partner Irene; sons Bob and Ken James and their respective spouses; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren; along with many other extended family members. Ted grew up on the Mays Road Blueberry Farm and later in life purchased and ran it so his children could also be raised there. He was a heavy equipment owner-operator and in his spare time he invented a machine to grade gravel shoulders. His favorite times were on the water boating with family and wintering on the beach in Baja, Mexico. There will be a celebration of life later in the Fall, details to be announced.
