It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Artist and Chess Enthusiast, Grant Edmond Wyles, age 75 years, of Chemainus, British Columbia (formerly of Vancouver and Nelson, BC). Predeceased by his parents: William Edward Wyles and Saraphine (nee Baillarge). Leaving to mourn: his sons Christopher and Myron (Jolyn); brother Mel (Diane); special friends the Bootsma family; and former wife Ingrid Wyles. Special thanks to Sabri Diab for his friendship and compassion; and to the staff of the Chemainus Health Care Centre for their excellent care. A private memorial for family will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy donations can be made in his name to any local animal rescue or SPCA.
