It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our father, Doug Mann.
Doug was a well-respected logger and businessman in Campbell River for over five decades. He will be incredibly missed by family, friends and associates.
Doug was predeceased by his father, Bud Mann and his wife, the love of his life, Nanette Mann.
Dad will be dearly missed by his ever lovin' mom Dot Mann, his children, Cara Mann (Jody), Jodi Mann, Kyle Mann (Kathleen), Heather Carter (Riley), siblings Lorri Jenkins (Marshall) and Kellie Gorosh (Fred). Grandchildren Nathan, Cole, Bryn and Ellie were the light of his life and will miss him very much.
In lieu of flowers please go plant potatoes in your yard and remember Dougie (Black Bart) when you harvest them. Also, donate to the BC Cancer Foundation https://bccancerfoundation.com/.
Celebration of life on August 27th at 1pm at Maritime Heritage Museum, 621 Island Hwy, Campbell River, BC.
