It is with great sadness to announce Doug passed away at home in his sleep.
Born in Vancouver, Doug at a young age began fixing things and became a journeyman mechanic.
Moved to Nanaimo in 1987 working at PetroCan car wash on Terminal. Then self employed appliance repair on Old Victoria Rd.
Doug was a big Canucks, BC Lions fan. He enjoyed music, friends, family and laughter.
Predeceased by father Anthony Teeuwen 1977 sister Ruth Teeuwen 1977 brother David Teeuwen 1999.
Survived by mother Janice Teeuwen sisters Leah Rowan and Sandra Teeuwen.
Spouse Christina Friesen beloved cat Boots step children Justin and Alexia Cantin.
Celebration of Life, we are hoping for the last weekend of May depending on lifting restrictions.
