It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dorothy, a wonderful Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.
Dorothy was born in Duncan B.C., the youngest of the Woods girls. Predeceased by Eric her husband of 65 years in 2010. Also predeceased by her sisters Betty and Margaret.
Survived by her children Bruce (Shirley), Stanley (Linda), and Lorna (Brian) Anderson and her dearest ones her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Dorothy was a great cook and baker. She will be remembered for baking and sharing her special cookies with friends and family. She was also a great knitter and took pride in keeping everyone warm with sweaters and also knitting her special Christmas stockings.
In her later years Dorothy became a sports fan and enjoyed watching her favorite teams, the Edmonton Oilers and Toronto Blue Jays.
Thank you for the care and compassion given to Dorothy by Dr. Gilbert, the many care workers, staff at Ts'i'ts'uwatul' Lelum Assisted Living and Chemainus Health care.
