On January 7, 2020 she left those who loved her dearly: her sons Rick (Jill, Allison and Lucas) and Greg (Sadie and Madeleine) and daughter-in-law Sarah (Alex and Theo). She was predeceased by her daughter Sylvia (Zachary, Rose, and Jared), her husband Rob, and her son Jeff. Also remembered fondly by Gretta, Judy, Pat, Simon, Kelly, and many other friends.
Born in California, she grew up in Vancouver and became a teacher, then traveled to Australia, where she met and married her husband of 57 years. Her love for her family and friends knew no bounds. More people than can be counted received one of her parcels of home-made goodies. She made baking cookies, squares, and fudge at age 92 look easy, and would like to be remembered the way she lived.
