Survived by her loving, long time partner, David McDonald. Sisters, Brenda (Gary), Diane (Alastair) and sister-in-law, Gladys. Sons, John & Jim Sawatzky, stepchildren, Ian & Kaitlin McDonald. 3 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.
Pre-deceased by her parents, Ethel & Don Cox, brothers, Roy & Rob, sister Sharon and nephew Gerry.
Born and lived in Campbell River much of her entire life.
Donna was an excellent cook and worked 18 years aboard the Aurora Explorer, Marine Link Tours as head Chef, until her retirement. Also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 137, where she enjoyed volunteering much of her time.
Celebration Of Life to be held at the Campbell River Legion, Saturday October 12th, at 2 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Campbell River Hospice Society at Yucalta Lodge.
