Don was born in North Hatley, Quebec to Paul and Clarice Grenon.
He braved hardships of failing health for years with Parkinson’s disease, and has now reached the end of life’s journey.
He leaves behind his wife of 56 years, Elizabeth; son Shane (Danielle); grandsons, Jacob and Nathan, his sister – Linda Grenon, nephew Craig, niece Lana and their families.
As a young lad, Don joined the Army Cadets, RCN, RCAF – and lastly Public Servant. These services have taken him to many parts of the world. Over the years, he volunteered with Boy Scouts, Army Cadets, 888 Wing and Air Force Museum.
Don enjoyed camping, fishing, travelling, making twig furniture, painting pictures, and belonged to a cribbage club for years.
Many thanks for the good care he received at Glacier View Lodge and to Craig for his visits to Don.
