September 10th, we said goodbye to a remarkable man, Don Taylor aka "Coach". He was born in Alliston, Ontario and raised in a farming community.
He was predeceased by his father Melville Bruce and mother Norein (Westlake), brother Douglas George Westlake (Norma).
Don is survived by his sister Elizabeth Peters, and his loving wife of 45 years Deborah Jean (Smythe) Taylor. Together they had two children Sean Michael (Tammy Jean Telford) and Kimberly Jean (Mike). He loved his grandchildren Gracie, Brody, Brooks as well as Desire Smythe and David Nelson.
All his spare time was spent at the arena or Nunns Creek ballpark with all of his kids. He took great pleasure either coaching or working as President for these associations. He has touched many lives in the community and will be greatly missed.
