November 9, 1929 - July 31, 2020
After a short illness, Dad took his last breath on Friday July 31 at Dufferin Care Lodge where he resided for almost a year.
Dad was predeceased by our beautiful Mom Audrey Janes (Millard). He is survived by his four children; Larry (Jackie) Janes of Denman Island, Donna (Dave) Conelley of Royston, Joanne Williams of Ladner and Terry Janes of Denman Island.
The Siblings can't thank Terry enough for the care he gave Dad which allowed him to stay in his home on Denman as long as he was able. Dad is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and a new great grandchild arriving in October.
There will be no service by Dad's request. If anyone wishes donations can be made to the Denman/Hornby Home Care that were amazing looking after our Mom then our Dad. The valley has lost another of the pioneering family members - a member of the Hawkins family.
