It is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Diana Rae Dingwall, at home with her loving family by her side.
Diana was born in Shellbrook Saskatchewan, raised in Prince George and planted roots in Campbell River where she raised her 4 children and with an exceptional work ethic, built a career in Health Care at the Campbell River Hospital.
Diana was a woman of many talents and enjoyed spending her personal time cooking, crafting, curling, gardening, playing bridge and the piano, reading, researching genealogy, sewing and volunteering. Most of all she loved her time with her family, friends, neighbors and her travel adventures which took her to every continent.
She will forever be remembered for her love of books, music, her amazing quilts and especially her memories through her photo albums.
Diana is predeceased by her father Malcolm Dingwall, mother Edith Dingwall and son Craig McDermid and will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her sister Sandra Dingwall and brother Lorie Dingwall (Norma), children, Lynn McDermid (Pete), Brenda McDermid and Scott McDermid, grandchildren Sarah (Mike), Alex, Samantha (Mitchell), AJ, Tyler, Tyson (Lisa), Matthew and Nathan, great-grandchildren Alden, Mikaela and Theodore, nephew Glenn (Cindy), great-niece Moira and dearest friend Sylvia.
She left us happy, fulfilled, and bravely at peace.
In the cherished words of her father, of which she often spoke
"Good night you lucky people"
