It Is with great sadness we announce the passing of Dermott Aspell with his loving family by his side.
Survived by his wife Peggy he also leaves to mourn his sons Davin (Courtney), Bryce (Dionne) & daughter Amy (Tyler).
Four very Deeply loved granddaughters - Graylynn, Rhoen, Sienna and Briar all of which brought him so much joy!
Also survived by brother Ed( Evelene) & sisters Nellie & Domitilla and all of their families originating from NFLD.
Dermott is survived by many nieces and nephews and so many friends both near and far.
Dermott has worked in the forest industry for many years starting at Sproat Lake Div and after as a contract faller for several contractors and as his own falling company. Then into retirement worked at Wholesale Sports and Canadian Tire in their Pro shops.
Dermott did not find this work hard as he loved the outdoors and many if not all sports. He spent many seasons outdoors hunting and fishing in the valley and interior. He was always planning his next expedition.
There will be no service at this time. We will gather later to celebrate his life and share stories.
