With great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Dennis James Poets on May 06, 2022 at the age of 55
Dennis will be greatly missed by his partner Tina, sons Sean & Patrick, parents Ron & Gillian, sister Sandy, brother Darryl (Katherine), niece Ashley (Christopher), nephews Cody (Sarah), Michael, Dane and great niece Emersyn. Dennis will also be missed by his extended family and many friends.
An avid sports enthusiast, Dennis grew up playing hockey and baseball and later found his love for fishing. Many camping and fishing trips were spent with in Port Renfrew "Hunter Gathering" with his fishing buddies Greg, Doug, John, Rance and many others.
Some of Dennis proudest moments came at the rink in the early years coaching his boys and their many friends in hockey, and later watching Patrick chase his dreams of being a hockey player.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday May 28, 2022 from 1:00pm - 4:00pm at Dennis & Tina's residence. In lieu of flowers please bring photos and your memories to share.
