Deb Walton

Deb Walton, a vibrant soul who brought warmth and joy to all who knew her, unexpectedly passed away on September 2, 2023, at the age of 61.
She is predeceased by her father Nick Rausch and brother Gord Rausch.
She is survived by her mother Lena, sister Belinda, husband Carl, son Brennan (Amanda), son Jordan (Ashley), her four grandchildren whom she loved so much: Aubree, Taryn, Piper, and Lincoln, along with numerous extended family and friends.
Deb was the most amazing daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandma, and friend we could have asked for. Throughout her life, she was always a very energetic and active woman, playing on multiple team sports during her youth. She was a social butterfly with an innate love for people and being surrounded by them.
One of her greatest joys was spending time alongside Carl and their dogs down at the river, where they created cherished memories, swimming with their grandchildren and enjoying summer days. She was proud of her grandchildren and treasured spending time with them. It was something she could not get enough of....
Deb's favourite things included her famous garden, which she generously shared with all who needed fresh produce. She cherished her time with family and friends on adventures such as hiking, kayaking, biking, and fishing down the canal. She enjoyed travelling with friends all over; Hawaii, Europe, Costa Rica, Mexico, all over the island and other parts of Canada.
She really did live life to the fullest, embracing what little time she had at the care homes spreading love and laughter amongst every senior in her company and ensuring they were well cared for.
There are not enough words to express the depth of Deb's kindness and compassion. She will be missed by many and loved by even more.
She will live on through our memories as a special once-in-a-lifetime person that we were all so privileged to have known. We are immensely grateful for the life and laughter that she shared with us.
A celebration of Deb's life will be held at the Chapel of Memories on Saturday, September 23 at 11:00 a.m. Gathering to follow at Brennan & Amanda's house.
