David Lawrence Martin was born in Vancouver on April 30, 1955 and passed away suddenly on September 22, 2024
Predeceased by his sister Maureen he leaves behind his sister Heather, brother Al (Kathy), Doug (Cheryl), Ralph (Donna) and many nieces and nephews.
He leaves to mourn his wife, Lynn (nee Hutchison) and stepchildren, Kathleen (Greg), Mike (Amanda), Kimberly (Ken), Keith, Andrew (Danielle).
Mourning the passing of their Papa are his 16 Grandchildren, Mada-lynn, Corbin, Harlli, Cassidy, Keenan, Michaela, Luke, Johnny, Vinny, Leo, Ella, Nick, Shilo, Samantha, Damon, Aria and three great grandbabies, Chloe, Jalen and Blakely.
Dave's hobbies included hunting and fishing with his older brothers and the fine art of growing a variety of amazing roses.
Dave's career opportunities included service in the military, commercial diving and construction, which took him all over the world, however what he loved most was to relax and enjoy the sunshine in sunny Mexico with Lynn for the last 15 years.
Once retired, he found his happy place puttering at Spider Lake Springs resort.
The celebration of Dave's life will take place at the Errington Memorial Hall between 1 and 4 pm on Saturday, October 5, 2024.
