Dave passed away suddenly at home in the evening of June 11th, 2018. He is greatly missed by his wife of 29 years Wanda and his dog Genie.
In his early years Dave drove bus for Brewsters. He was an avid skier and member of ski patrols for Whistler and Jasper back in the early days. He also enjoyed sailing which took him to Mexico for many years. Dave was a lifelong fan of the Montreal Canadiens, Toronto Blue Jays and San Francisco 49'ers and enjoyed his daily "Sports Action" bet.
Dave was a finishing carpenter by trade and retired several years ago. He was a big presence in his community and was a dedicated volunteer over the years with several organizations including the Cedar Community Hall and in its time, the Cedar Community Police. He would never hesitate to help a friend or neighbor and was always ready to share a good laugh or story. Dave loved cooking and treated his and Wanda's bed and breakfast guests with the most awesome breakfasts. He never tired of taking on something new that sparked his interest and was passionate about Mason Bees and wild birds. He loved his little patch of heaven here.
Rest easy Dave, you are so loved and so missed.
