It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our Dad, David Campbell of Comox BC, better known by
those who loved him as "Pappy." David passed away at Glacier View Lodge after a long battle with Alzheimer's. David was born in Paisley Scotland to Kate and David Campbell. David was predeceased by his loving wife Phyllis (Hamilton) Campbell. David and Phyllis had three daughters Christine (Christos) Sabanis, Linda (David) Spetch, Janice (William) Snow. He had five grandchildren, Nicholas, Joanna, David, Serena and Julina. He had five great
grandchildren Ava, Christos, Brayden, Sophia and Quinn. David and his family immigrated to Canada in 1968.
David lived in Richmond until moving to the Comox Valley. David worked as a civilian at CFB Comox until his retirement. David and Phyllis loved the Comox Valley and all it had to offer. Fishing and golfing were two of their favourite pass times. David and Phyllis's life was like one big musical, they both enjoyed singing so much that
they volunteered at Glacier View Lodge for many years entertaining the residents with their sing songs.
Thank you to the wonderful care staff at Glacier View Lodge who became part our Dad's family, he will be missed as he was loved by so many.
