Born in Campbell River to Art Peterson and Barb Purdy. Predeceased by his grandparents, Sven and Anna Peterson, Sid and Flora Buxton and his brother Paul.
Left to celebrate David's life are his son Ryan, father Art (Sharon), mother Barb (John), sister Anna (Phil), stepsisters Tracita, Tammy (Bob), nephew Braydon, niece Rheanna, cousins Treasa, Sid, Michel, Bev and their families.
David worked as a fisherman, then as an engineer on a local fish farm boat and one in Kelsey Bay, a refrigeration processing boat and then the tugs. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, working on his Nova & Trackers. Enjoyed panning for gold and was a very good cook. He was mechanically inclined and his family and friends benefited.
To all of you that knew David,
thank you for being a part of his life.
Our world will never be the same.
