We are saddened to announce the unexpected passing of our mom, Darshan just days short of her 80th birthday. She is survived by her son Raj (Lisa), daughter Ramina (Matt) and four grandchildren Paxtyn, Kieran, Jaedyn and Sage. Our loss was sudden and profound, and we miss her immensely. Mom was born in Vancouver, BC but spent most of her years living in Campbell River, working at the Access Center. She was a youthful, active individual who enjoyed working in her yard, going to the gym, belly dancing and spending time with her grandkids. Mom was also an amazing cook, that loved sharing her Indian food with others. She had a fun, vibrant spirit and a contagious laugh! The family would like to thank the CR Hospital nursing staff on 3A for treating mom with great care and respect. Upon request, there will be no formal service.
