In Loving Memory of Dana Jay Ewasiuk ~ He left us in pieces, but we know he is at peace. He is exactly where he wanted to be. He got his wish to go to heaven.
Predeceased by Brother Dean Ewasiuk, who left us way too young. Also by Father Victor Ewasiuk and Mother Beryl Ewasiuk.
Dana was born in Neepawa, lived happily with his siblings Derek, Carlyle and Leslie. Spent many years in Neepawa before moving to BC.
Dana met his practice wife Helen, had Amy Ewasiuk. Then he met Sandra Aker and had 3 kids Jake Ewasiuk, Katie Ewasiuk and Jesse Ewasiuk. He leaves behind all 4 children.
He became a miner at Westmin mine where he stayed for 33 years . He worked so hard to become the man they called "BULLDOG."
To this day no single friend stuck around like his long haired hippie friend Doug Edwards, who showed up to be his best man in a Blue Muscle shirt. Dana's fav place was Beavertail Lake, we never had better times as a family then we did at Beavertail Lake. His other fav places include spending as much time with his grandchildren Jordyn, Jayden, Lukas, Kiera and Emily.
He loved his home and to drink Molson Canadian beer. Hard to find photos without Dana and a Molson Canadian. Hobbies included camping, spending time with family drinking beer and playing 8 ball billiards, and also loved listening to loud music. In 2013/14 he won 1st place on the Quinsam Q's shortly after he got on the pool team for 2 years, before he got too sick to play much.
Everyone will surely miss him saying," It's a big ol goofy world', Or when you ask him how he's doing? He will say, " Sh***y but thanks for asking "!
Dana you will be missed, but never forgotten !!! R.I.P Old Man
