In Loving Memory ~
Our beloved Dale passed away peacefully at Trillium Oceanside Hospice after a lengthy illness with congestive heart failure.
He was born in Empress, Alberta, and grew up in Olds on a farm with his parents, Laura and Pete, along with his brothers, Lance, Jerry, and Elwood.
He left the farm to pursue his dream of becoming a police officer. He graduated from the RCMP Depot in 1965 and worked with the RCMP until 2001, ending his career as a Staff Sergeant in Victoria, BC.
He retired to Qualicum with his wife, Jill, following an exciting and fulfilling career. He was an avid angler and gardener, a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He leaves his wife Jill, two daughters and their partners, Bobbi-Jo (Guy) and Jodi (Marty), four grandchildren, along with five great-grandchildren.
A heartfelt thank you to the team at Oceanside Hospice for their unwavering excellent care and compassion, with a special thank you to Dr. Susan Hunter, Blair, and Crystal.
