Dale passed away peacefully in his sleep.
Dale was predeceased by his mother (Margaret) and Father (Arthur). His sister Leah continues to live in Campbell River. Various nieces, nephews and cousins reside in Campbell River and around the province.
Niece Holly and her two children Daniel and Kyla especially enjoyed taking Dale out for walks by the ocean. Eldest son Paul Norris, his partner Carol and grandson Finn are from London, England. Youngest son, Josh Sears, partner Nikki and grandchildren Noah and Ava live in Kelowna.
Dale navigated life on his own terms. He began his working career at Seaboard in Vancouver, eventually parlaying his time with CN, various logging companies and blasting operations. Always drawn to nature, Dale was happiest working outdoors, rolled cigarette in hand. Dale easily made friends, and undoubtedly leaves behind a diverse collection of fellow life travellers.
